Account Manager

November 2016 - December 2018

As an Account Manager for a high profile and high-volume account (Victoria Government, non-Campaign), I experienced great pride in leading a team of close-knit media professionals who provided exceptional levels of client service daily. My team covered planning and buying across all aspects of media (excluding TV), including but not limited to: all offline channels, direct-to-publisher digital display/video, programmatic display/video, SEM, social, affiliates, partnerships.

In addition to leading a team of five, I worked alongside the Account Director and Group Business Director in planning and executing media buys for an array of clients, including but not limited to, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of Health & Human Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the buying and delivery of all recruitment and non-campaign campaigns.

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth within the agency.

  • Work with client services team to evaluate clients’ media and advertising needs

  • Assist in the development of proposals and end of campaign reports.

  • Analyse market research and study demographic data of a wide range of media vehicles to determine the most effective approach to reach target audience

  • Represent client and agency to the media community in a consistently respectful and professional manner

  • Communicate with media representatives on behalf of our clients to negotiate the best placement, highest value, and optimal use of budgeted funds

  • Evaluate performance and optimise campaigns to deliver optimum results

  • Ensure on-time delivery of financial reporting to the business, including invoicing and resolution of account queries.
